How to Start a House Church

Inspired by Acts 2:42-47, our core aim at Arise Church is to build genuine family relationships with one another around the table. Regardless of where you are or what your credentials are, you can start a house church right where you are.

Find a Host Home

Find a Host Home

Look for a host home (maybe even your own home) in your neighborhood where you can meet consistently.

Three young men sit in a circle on folding chairs in a grassy area, their heads bowed in prayer or serious conversation on a sunny day.

Pray Together

Gather with your leaders and pray together - this can look like praying with each other 30 minutes before house church, prayer throughout the week, or both.

Lead with Multiplication in Mind

Lead with Multiplication in Mind

As your house church grows, there will be opportunities to multiply into more missional communities in your city. Lead your house church knowing that the end goal is for people in your region to encounter the presence of God.
