Visit a House Church

Inspired by Acts 2:32-37, our house churches aim to be Spirit-filled families that practice the way of Jesus and live missionally

Awakening begins when we wake up to the presence of Jesus in our everyday lives. That’s why we gather primarily in homes. We want you to belong to a spiritual family that shares communion and a meal, engages scripture through conversation, and prays together. It’s around the table where we’re most deeply formed into the way of Jesus, and it’s in our neighborhoods where we learn to be the love of Jesus to those around us. 

House Church Rhythms

"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." —Acts 2:42

Meal

Family begins by sharing food together. Each week people bring a dish to share and House Church begins by building relationships together over a meal. 

Teaching + Discussion

Growing in our knowledge of the scriptures and discipleship to Jesus. Some weeks the teaching is done in person and other weeks it is watched from an Arise church shared video. 

Prayer

House church isn’t just a place of gathering, it’s a place where we rejoice together, bear one another one’s burdens, seek God’s heart for the world around us, and generally grow in our love for communing with God through prayer.
