What to Expect

On Easter Weekend, we come together from all across the city to connect with one another, celebrate the resurrection, and make space for the Holy Spirit to move. All are welcome to attend any of our three events: a noonday Good Friday service, a family easter egg hunt, and an Easter service

Good Friday Service

Join us for our Good Friday Service in partnership with Every Nation Church.

We will meet together at the Sanctuary for a brief midday worship service at 12:15 pm. The Sanctuary will be open 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for contemplation if you want to drop in during your work day.

Easter Egg Hunt

Join us for an Easter egg hunt at Elizabeth Street Park.

Bring your family and kids for a fun time of fellowship and community.

We will gather at 10:00 for coffee and donuts (provided), and the event will begin at 10:30 am. Please bring baskets.


Join Us in Celebrating Easter

Arise will be celebrating together on Sunday, March 31st at Limestone Hall. Our doors will open at 9:30am for light refreshments, while service will begin at 10 am and will conclude at 12pm.

Additionally, childcare will be provided for families with children under the age of eight.

We invite you to participate in the Blooming Cross

We invite you to participate in blooming the Cross

Each year, Arise invites our community to bring flowers to make a blooming cross. It symbolizes the new life that emerges from Jesus's death on Good Friday.

If you are able, please bring a bouquet of flowers to add to our blooming cross.

Parking & Venue

Limestone Hall is located on the third floor of the old Lexington courthouse next door to the 5/3 Pavilion.

There are multiple entrances so when you arrive, look for an Arise volunteer to point you toward the elevators.

There are multiple opportunities for parking surrounding Limestone Hall. Street parking is free on Sundays. There is a parking garage located on Main Street, directly across from the courthouse. On Short Street, there are multiple pay-to-park lots facing the courthouse.

Arise will happily reimburse for parking fees, upon request.
